How it works

From inbox to done in three steps

The usual ways to mass download from Gmail all fall apart at scale. Saving manually takes hours. Google Takeout exports your entire account as giant archives with attachments buried inside raw email files. Browser extensions choke after a few dozen messages.

Dioveo was built for exactly this job. It indexes your whole mailbox first, so bulk selection works across everything you have ever received, and the download arrives as one clean zip.

1

Sign in with Google

No setup, no installs. Your mailbox starts indexing immediately.

2

Search and select in bulk

Filter to what you need, for example all PDFs from a client, then select the whole result set at once.

3

One zip, neatly organized

The download is a single zip with folders per sender and per year, plus a manifest listing every file.

Why Dioveo

Built for exactly this job

Hundreds of files per download. Selection is not capped at a page of results. Pick everything that matches your search and download it in one pass.

Organized before it lands. Zips are structured by sender and year. No folder full of five hundred loose files to sort by hand.

Big mailboxes welcome. Dioveo indexes huge mailboxes in the background and streams large downloads without breaking a sweat.

Your inbox stays untouched. Downloading copies your files. Nothing is moved, deleted, or altered in Gmail unless you explicitly ask for it.

What early testers say

“I searched 'QA' and my resume popped up right away. It solved the whole digging-through-old-emails problem for me.”

“From sign-up to cloud sync, everything just worked. My attachments were indexed, I found files instantly, and the Drive sync did exactly what it promised.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many attachments can I download at once?
Hundreds per download as a single zip on Pro. The free plan gives you unlimited downloads for 7 days (zips up to 20 files and 50MB each), then 5 file retrievals a month. Pro is unlimited.
How is the zip organized?
Files are grouped into folders by sender and then by year, and a manifest file lists every attachment with its original message details.
Is this better than Google Takeout?
For attachments, yes. Takeout exports your whole account as MBOX archives where attachments are encoded inside raw email files and need extra tools to extract. Dioveo gives you just the files, already organized, in minutes.
Do the originals stay in Gmail?
Yes. A bulk download is a copy. Your emails and attachments remain exactly where they were.
How long does a big download take?
Indexing happens once, on your first sign in. Most mailboxes finish in minutes; very large ones continue in the background and you are emailed when ready. After that, bulk downloads are prepared in the background and usually ready in under a minute.
