How is this different from Google Takeout?
Takeout exports your entire account as MBOX email archives, and extracting attachments from them requires extra tools and patience. Dioveo exports the attachments themselves as normal files, organized by sender and year, in minutes.
Can I export before deleting my Google account?
Yes, that is one of the most common uses. Index, select everything, export to a download or to another cloud account, and only then close the old account.
How long does a full export take?
Indexing starts immediately and runs in the background; most mailboxes finish in minutes. Preparing the export also runs in the background, and you can keep using Dioveo while it works.
Where do exported files go?
Your choice: a zip download to your computer, or directly into Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Prepared downloads auto-delete from our servers within days.
Do my emails stay intact?
Yes. Exporting copies your attachments. Nothing in your Gmail is moved or removed.
